yes good morning it's going to be a lovely day happy Friday Churchill it is 8:30 it's time for our Friday announcements today is Friday November 12th your announcements are brought to you by Prince snore assistant principal Gardner and Dean Williamson all right boys and girls going to stand for the pledge Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all you mean now have a seat okay Bulldogs are mindfulness moment take a moment take a deep breath in and push it out all the way let it all go at this time clear your mind recenter your body focus your brain and pause for a moment silence alright thank you so many amazing things going around on our building a huge shout out who are bulldogs that performed at in the recent orchestra concert let's give them a round of applause Made It Go nicely done I also wanted to give a huge shout out so many guests and staff working really hard on some unit Assessments in math and wow oh my gosh the focus the concentration and all of the different strategies you all were using to get to that conceptual understanding of what you're working on that was really really cool so give yourselves a pat on the back well done everyone on your hard work there I also a really cool present on my desk and I wanted to give a shout out to Michaela her mom wrote this amazing book that which was inspired by her and I'm really excited to talk with her more about it but if you see her just give her some positive vibes I love the book it's amazing and McKayla thank you so much for thinking of me and finally I just want to thank everyone kindness and congratulate yes I successfully defended my dissertation this week and earned my Ph.D so thank you all for your kindness and words of encouragement and support I really appreciate it image of publishment graduations okay today is the last day for the kindness challenge it's finally here so classes 40 points they will earn a small price classes that earn 100 points or more they will write have a representative one student from your class that gets too tall hi how exciting and then the winning class for your grade level 5 students in your class can toss up high so some very exciting activities that be happening next week now wait a minute I thought we were joking about the pies is this for real it's just happening it's really happening. Your store I think there's a lot of classes that are going to reach reach their goal today is the last day and when is this happening again when are we doing the pies or we're doing it next week Thursday November 10th alright I'm excited and I hope your last class as I get to throw some pies so keep up the kindness all throughout today today is the last day get those points that's right center strong Bulldogs all right let's talk about social skill of the week compromising compromising can be one way to problem solve a compromise is when you and someone else want to do different things and you decide on something that will make both happy this might mean both of you giving up part of what you want have wanted to do taking turns doing different things or one or both of you is not getting your way a compromise is kind of like making a deal so that both of you get something you what Bulldogs coming up some important things you need to know today is the end of trimester one year we made it it's the end of the trimester your teachers will be doing a pot turn in today I know you guys have been working hard as classes to earn those pies your specials rotation a will begin on Monday November 15th as the beginning of trimester 2 that week will be the last week of Session One clubs and then as we mentioned Thursday November 18th our kindness challenge celebration will take place and then on Friday November 19th we'll have some pop party celebration and that is the day that's your trimester 1 report card will be finalized and sent out to your family's so finish strong Bulldogs make sure you've done everything you can to get those grades you're the quick reminders that we had last week but again I think it's worth mentioning if you have any items in the lost and found stop on by and pick up what you have lost it is cooler weather thank you for wearing those jackets and hats scars make sure you keep track of them you are responsible for your things okay every day you're wearing a mask the one in your backpack and you do need to bring a water bottle so that you can stay hydrated throughout the day and we're doing a good job keeping our physical distance please remember that you still need to remain three to six feet away from your friends it is expected during lunch that you remain seated while you're eating and you must Master yourself if you are up out of your seat at any point is also important that we keep our voice levels at a reasonable level so that we can all enjoy socializing and that it's not too loud and finally take care of our school all you guys have done a great job picking up trash making sure that other people are making great choices about taking care of our building keeps doing that I appreciate it Bulldogs it's time alright celebrate happy birthday happy birthday to Kiani Malia no Aaliyah Michael and Georgia Georgia happy birthday yeah fourth graders Canon MP printer happy birthday and happy birthday to Mason Haley and Jack we hope it's a very special day is today your birthday is happy birthday add a special happy birthday to you mrs. menswear who is one of our evening custodian Pappy State Park happy birthday all right here's the quote of the week make time to celebrate your accomplishments this goes for everybody no matter how big Mall make sure to congratulate yourself each and every day on the things that you are doing well okay we have a fun fact of the day there's only one letter that doesn't appear in any US state name you guess which letter they got to think about that so if you come up with an answer and you see me you can share with me what you think the answer is stay tuned all right before we finished misses a doctor snore I have everybody's attention right now today is Doctor snore to celebrate your Great accomplishments and we are all wearing blue in honor of you because it is your favorite color own my goodness you know you do you have on blue but don't you fret because you two can wear blue today oh my goodness thank you so much I'll have you see mrs. doctor snore today give her a big congratulations because she's worked really really hard to earn her doctorate degree so we are so proud of you we are ready to celebrate with you on your huge accomplishment we're so proud of you thank you all so much thank you alright Bulldogs always remember be safe be restarted so and be respectful happy Friday Bulldog make it a great day weekend
