Rising Bulldog presentation which is the proud principal of Churchill school and you will also see pictures on the slide Here mrs. Gardner our system Prince and mrs. William's ardene here they are our All-Star third grade team of teachers they are so excited to get to know a newest bulldogs and their families pictured here on the side are mrs. alborn Mrs Austin mr. Brown Mrs Hicks miss her again Mrs Mary Mack mr. Lewis mrs. O'Connell and Miss White you're more amazing staff members that work with our third grade students mrs. Yoshino rrta coordinator mrs. Pat are reading specialist interventionist misses Madden another reading specialist and interventionists and one more Miss Lexie kupchak mrs. Claus and cat is Arielle teacher mrs. angles teaches enrichment reading and language arts mrs. Nichols is our enrichment math teacher Miss Callahan is a mass specialist in interventionist and mrs. Edwards is am a specialist and interventionist this team Works closely together in collaboration with all of our grade level teachers to make sure that we're being responsive to all of our students needs are Churchill students love PE and house pictured here is our pee in house team say hello to mr. London Mr Soria Miss brosman and mistrzow you can see here they wanted to share with you that they love to get up and move by learning different skills and movements to keep our bodies healthy though what bones and muscles and what foods you should eat or stay away from they also incorporate teaching personal and social responsibility while in the house class we do meet 5 it's for PE and how that your toe guess there's more fun to be had in specials at Churchill take a look at this video they've created to share about what happens in music art stem and Tech hi boys and girls I missed Aaron and I will be your stem teacher next year stem is science technology engineering and math will do a lot of cool projects and you're also going to become problem solvers because we use the engineering design process I'll see you next fall and have a great evening hi there baby Bulldogs my name is mrs. Hastings and I in the technology teacher here at Churchill School I am so excited to meet you and tech class we're going to learn how to use the keyboard and become experts at typing we're going to do some fun projects computer we're also going to learn how to make smart and responsible decisions when using the computer and internet I look forward to seeing you in August how did your Bulldog's my name is mrs. Casper and I'm a music teacher in third grade music we learn a lot about reading the same song stories lots of fun and I cannot wait to learn all about music would use it next year begin summer hello awesome theater third grade artist I'm sure I will be your art teacher next year here at Churchill we do some really fun amazing art-making activities in 3rd grade can't wait to have you in here to make art and there's also an art Club after school so you if you're interested so have a wonderful rest of second grade and see you in the fall we have an income helpful and supportive Churchill when you call the school to some of the staff members picture here Miss Davis our new 12-month secretary secretary this is Wesley secretary or Muskogee a 10-month secretary are one of our assistance I'm inside you'll find out more information about our Church Hill School building our building is organized in grade level wings or pods this means that for the most part our third grade students they all together on the same wing noticed here in the pictures the artwork you might see in the hallways there are two examples of classrooms the multi-purpose room and the gym as well as the bathroom and the mobiles which sits very closely behind our building students attend some of their specials classes in the mobile unit which is where students will store their backpack and when cereals when they're not in use during the day if weather permits are Churchill students go out for recess pictured here is our awesome playground when we are on the ground we are always practicing our Bulldog best behaviors we're safe responsible and respectful on the playground but throughout our building and it also you also notice year are bike rack which is located on Center Avenue students are able to ride their bike to and from school but we do ask that students are off of there and walking their bike while they're on school property I know I've already mentioned so many fun things about Churchill school but there's more Churchill School is very excited to offer opportunities for I want to get involved with clubs and activities we highly encourage all students to choose one to try we do plan on sending out sign ups for clubs and activities around September so beyond the signupgenius links to come through hello future boo Williamson I'm the dentist things here at Churchill School I hear you have some questions what is the school mascot the school mascot is a bulldog we have bones pause full dog gear Bulldog Behavior All fabulous things about being a Churchill bulldog the next question is is it hard 3rd grade is a challenge but I want to say I know that your second grade teachers have done a phenomenal job preparing you for the upcoming school year so I know that you are ready and you will be able to do this you're going to rock next year the last question is what time does our day start and end our day starts at 8:30 a.m. you can arrive anytime after 8:15 our school day ends at 3:15 each day all right that's all I have for you see you soon I'm driving through Gators and this is Carter and assistant principal she reached her so I have a couple types of you but I'm going to answer for you the first question is who he has to enter into a certain yes I will enter and exit door which is facing Central Avenue the next question is can we have yes do we have lockers. So we'll have a cubby to place the best hacking tool soon take care baby Bulldogs I hear you had some questions for us but we want to make sure that you get the answers question number one are we going to get a lot of homework know he won't get a lot of homework we're going to work really hard during the school day but sometimes a little extra practices guys so you will have some homework all right question number two are great in the day we all need breaks throughout the day to give your brain a little Shake we do also have a designated Time For Recess so they will definitely be breaks throughout your day are there sports clubs after school well this is mentioned earlier but we do have a lot of clubs and activities and some of them are sports or fitness-related if this is something you're interested in definitely be on the lookout sign ups this is one of our Church Hill students their favorite subject did you really cool experiments and we learned about really interesting science topics chair at church well this is been a lot of fun I hope you enjoyed the introduction to Churchill School don't forget we are hosting Step Up events on Thursday May 13th Friday May 14th and Monday May 17th at these events we will be providing a short presentation with the opportunity to ask questions as well as a student-led tour the session go from 4:30 to 5:30 and 6 to 7 you do need to sign up using the Sign Up Genius link that were sent all Rising third grade families if you need any help at all or if you need more information do not hesitate to contact the Churchill main office we are asking that only one student and one caretaker at end so that we can ensure we're following all the house in safety guys to keep our community safe we hope to see you there thank thank you for taking the time to watch this presentation go
