About the Teacher

Hello from Ms. Nieto!

     My teaching career started in 1994. I was a 5th grade Language Arts and Math/Science teacher in Glenwood, Illinois. For the second half of my career I was teaching 3rd grade at Churchill School since 2008. Most currently, I'm teaching 5th grade at Churchill. We will work together as your child's learning team to help him/her/them grow both socially/emotionally as well as academically and prepare your child for the move to James Hart. Never hesitate to reach out by phone or email. No question is too big or too small!

 

     Besides falling in love with my students every year, the other loves of my life are my son, Jacob, and my stepson, Charles. Jake is studying Biology at Illinois State University. Charles is newly married and resides in Minnesota with his wife, Alyssa.
