About Mrs. Smith

Hello and a big warm welcome to all our wonderful families! My name is Mrs. Smith, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining this amazing school community. I am passionate about creating an environment where every student feels excited to learn, confident to explore, and inspired to grow. I truly believe that education is a team effort, and I can’t wait to build strong, positive relationships with all of you. When families and teachers work together, we create a supportive and loving environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

A few things about me are that I graduated from Saint Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a Reading Teacher Endorsement. I have been teaching since 2020, so this will be my 6th year in the classroom! In March of 2024 I happily married my wonderful husband. We share our lives with our cat named Mochi and our tortoise named Boris. A few things I love doing outside of school are baking, cooking, reading, playing video games and spending time with family and friends. 

I can't wait to meet everyone and get to know each student's unique personality, interests, and strengths! Let's have a great school year!
