Welcome to Physical Education with Miss Lewner!

My name is Maddie Lewner, and I am so excited to be teaching PE at Churchill Elementary this year! This is my first year teaching at Churchill Elementary but my second year altogether teaching PE. I am so happy to join the Bulldog family and getting to know each and every one of my students!

A little about me… In December 2023, I graduated from Western Illinois University. I am a proud Fighting Leatherneck! During my free time, I like to spend time with my family, friends and cats Gorgan and Tauriel. I also like to crochet and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.  

I am very excited for this school year, and I am committed to teaching students the importance of daily physical activity in all aspects of their lives to promote a healthy lifestyle.
