I am so very excited to start my first year as one of the Band Directors in Homewood 153!
2022-23 marks my 21st school year
I have taught band, choir, general music, and even art throughout the Chicagoland area
I grew up in the South Suburbs and attended IJP and Marian Catholic High School. After HS I attended the University of Evansville where I received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree. I also completed graduate work at VanderCook College of Music.
I am married to Jorge and have an amazing son, Benjamin, who is a freshman at HF. Benjamin plays cello, which keeps me busy as an orchestra mom!
I can’t wait to get to know all of our students and embark on the amazing musical journey that is instrumental music!
