Welcome!

 

My name is Mrs. Boehl and I am one of the School Social Workers at Churchill Elementary School. I will be servicing students in 3rd grade, as well as students in 4th grade on the Blue Team. I will be working with students in small groups and in individual sessions. I look forward to working with you/your child(ren) and getting to know everyone.

 

 

This is my 1st year as a School Social Worker at D153, but my 11th year in the Social Work field overall. I previously worked at D168, but also worked in the non-profit sector of Social Work working with individuals experiencing homelessness and substance abuse disorders. 

 

I am a product of HSD 153, having gone through school here at Willow School, Millenium School, and James Hart Junior High. After graduating from HF, I went on to get my Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) and Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Governors State University. I returned to school to get my Professional Educators License (PEL) from Dominican University in order to be able to work in schools. In July 2023 I passed the state exam and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)!
