Welcome!
I am so glad you're here! A little bit about me...
My name is Dana Musharbash. I was born and raised in New York, and now live in Illinois in a neighboring town. I absolutely love Homewood and am grateful to be embraced by such a beautiful community of students, parents, and colleagues! The 2026-2027 school year will be by sixth year at Churchill, and eighth year of teaching overall.
I graduated from Purdue University with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, and received my Master's degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership. I have experience teaching special education, enrichment, and general education over the years.
My goal in our classroom is for everyone to feel comfortable, be heard, and be successful. I love building relationships with all my students and creating a sense of family within our classroom. I can't wait to meet all of my new fourth grade rockstars!
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. We are a team! You can call the school phone, send a ClassDojo message, or email me directly--
Let's have a great year together ❤
Always,
Miss Musharbash
