Rachel Shaw, School Psychologist
My name is Rachel Shaw and I am the School Psychologist at Churchill School. I attended Governors State University where I obtained my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. My role at Churchill School is to work with at-risk general education students and students with special needs throughout the building. I often work with students who are struggling with meeting general education curriculum demands, students with social emotional difficulties and those who are in need of a Section 504 Plan or an IEP (Individualized Education Plan- Special Education). If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at rachel.shaw@HSD153.org or at the Google Voice Number, 708-794-6552.
District 153 offers a range of individualized services and programs within the educational setting based on a child's individuals needs. Churchill School services those students in grades 3, 4 and 5. The School Psychologist works collaboratively with the Special Education Team to meet the needs of all students in the community who require these special services.
